That looks great! I actually started drafting up my own drawings for a 1/96 Delta IV, but I'm not yet in a place to start working on another boat. I too recall finding the Alanger model with much excitement, but upon opening the box and looking at some of the details my excitement soon diminished. Beware - don't rely on that model for its accuracy! I'd be happy to discuss the inconsistencies I've found, feel free to PM.

Kevin found several small inconssitancys when putting together the 1/96 Oscar. Impressive results is an understatement!!
Both Kevin and myself were conspiring to do a Delta IV in 1/96. It would make for a fine balance to the new Ohio the Pete came out with.
Kevin is correct, there is a lot of incorrect information/drawings on the Delta IV.
We have been poking around for a while, and come up with a few things not common on the net. It drives me nuts to see a hull built from bad information. Be happy to help.

Understand that I posted my comment on the Alanger kit because I know first hand how infuriating it is to be most of the way through a build and then discover that the source documentation is flawed. (Recall that's exactly what happened with my OSCAR and the PBP drawing I was using, only I didn't discover it until my master was finished less panel lines.) If this is the case, all I will say is "Tom, come back!"...

Delta IV Build... Please Do!

I, too, would like to see someone take on the challenge of building an accurate R/C version of the Delta IV. It's one of my favorite Ruskie submarines.

I missed the initial posting by backstop & hope he'll share with all of us subtle as cement truck critics...
