        The propeller looks really small. Taking a dimension from Kemp's drawing, I presumed it was much bigger than it looks in your photos. I don't suppose anyone ever took a measurement of it?

          Excellent pitures they'll come in handy.where was the waterline generaly i see the picture on caswels site is that showing the normal surface waterline with the stern lower than the bow?

            Yes that's how I've seen

            Yes that's how I've seen them running. I think they ran that way to maximise the effectiveness of the control surfaces.

            This can work in your favour if you're going with a single piston tank, as the bow dipping first as you fill the tank, will merely level out the boat for submerged trim.

                  what about the other xcraft

                  does anyone out there have good pictures of the boat at Duxford, I know it is an x-51, and looks much different, but I have the OTW kit, and need some more info. I would love to go out and photograph it in really exacting detail, but I cant with my school schedule, not to mention, i live near Washington D.C..
