32nd parallel went out of business a few years ago.
I tried to get hold of the type XXIII kit and unfortunately was too late myself....
In Germany these kits were sold by Harhaus.
I spoke to Helmut Harhaus two days ago and all he has left are a few kits of the Holland sub.
ThorDesign is almost completed with a 1/32nd scale German WWII Type XXIII. It will be released almost immediately after our new 1/96 scale OHIO later this fall.
Also in the works are a 1/32nd Scale Type IIC that Jeff LaRue will be showing off at the Regatta (Jeff LaRue and Sam Reichart are working up the patterns so they will be absolutely top notch). Our 1/48th scale Type XXI should be out around Christmas. We just have started the ground work for a 1/48th Type IXC, as well but that will be out after our 1/48th Gato this next year.
the II/c is definetely going to be mine...i waited for a type II for ages !
This sub with the quality of your hulls is like a dream come true for me .
The XXIII in that scale is also very..........well.........starting to shake right now !
Virginia is scheduled to be released late next year. We need to get all of these partially finished U-Boats out in kit form before we embark on Virginia.
