    1/96 ScaleShips Oscar II Build

    Hello,

I have been working on and off on this boat for almost a year. Spent the first three months opening flood holes ( about 400 later ) I have installed a WTC 3.5/2, and more. Here are a few shots of where I'm at so far.

        I covered the plywood twice

I covered the plywood twice with epoxy resin. I silver soldered the attenuators to the props. I should polish the things up, but they are gonna look pretty cool with a little tarnish on there. I can't wait to float this thing.

Did you use a big soldering iron or did you use a propane torch? And I assume you drilled and tapped the props for set screws because mine didnt come with any.

            Bring it to Gilligans Island

Bring it to Gilligans Island this Saturday and put it through some trials .

That is if the Deepsouth guys are going to run, and the weather holds out.

              Can you supply a picture

Can you supply a picture of the inside of the tail section? Specifacally the multiple hookups to the rudders and planes. Its a lot of work and I thought seeing yours might provide a few shortcuts. Thanks!!!
