I'm building one as a static display, eventually in a diorama for the Sydney MOdel Boat Show. It's such a good, fun build that I've got another one to eventually convert to R/C but I'll be designing my own dive system.

Here's the, still unfinished static display Seaview which I've lit up a bit



I'll be watching your conversion with great interest. What dive system are you planning on using?

I am using Merriman's sub driver for the Seaview. Super well done. I also bought a extra kit in case I ran into a major problem but it just goes together great. David's/Caswell 's DVD is really great showing the conversion.
I love your light. May have to incorporate that in mine.

Some more done. Flying sub bay and hatch worked out. Dive planes fitted and area filled. Limber holes being done. Going well.

I cannot say enough about the packing experience of Stringfly


HE IS THE MAN!
Also his building skills are par excellent.


I am forever indebted to Park for his gift of many items, including the DVDs that show how to build the unit, the fittings kit, and assembly linkages.

I am on a pension and I can only say that Park has been EXTREMELY GENEROUS.

Well I test fit the Sub Driver, got the bell cranks in place, put in the pumpjets. Wonderful fit. Excellent work STRINGFLY.

You know I had the

You know I had the same problem with the cds on the Gato that I bought from Caswell. I complained and they sent me another set that was worse than the first. So I sent both sets back and told them to send me a set that works! I was told that they had a new supplier and that this should not happen again. Well the third set was quite good but you have to speak up!

What an amazing work of

What an amazing work of art the Sub Driver is with this build.
The CG is PERFECT. Incredible fit and balance. I cannot say enough about the experience of Stringfly. The build by Mr Merriman and the product are simply elegant. I will love getting a Gato together. The internet world out there who are listening. The Seaview kit from Caswell is a must buy. The DVD set a must have. Everything works PERFECT. Thanks Park, Mr Merriman and Mike Caswell for completing my dreams of a boy and on my birthday no less...how cool is that?
