Well I cut back the tail section as far as I could to get room to make the impeller larger in diameter. You can see from the photo the original and the new impeller on the sub. Laundry tub testing shows even more thrust so it will be back in the YMCA pool in two weeks for more testing. BD.

Well I guess I did drop the ball on this one.
The new impeller works very good. Still no where as fast as the prop version, but quite respectable.
I did have is at the regatta this year. It was running well untill my rudder locked on me and she started to make larger and larger circles heading for the big fountain.
But it was Wayne to the rescue.
He waded out to save the day.
