      All systems have been tested

All systems have been tested and work fine. She's ready to trim.

I did have a fire. Seems the insulation on the power leads to the pump rubbed bear and made contact with the casing. Lots of smoke. Scary stuff but the leads melted through and broke the connection quickly saving the electronics. All fixed now.

I'm going to weather it today and place the windows. Lights tomorrow and then trim her on Tues.

            Another manufacturer of weathering powders

            Steve,

Another manufacturer of weathering powders is Bragdon Enterprises ( http://www.bragdonent.com/ ) and they have both a green powder and a blue powder that are probably very much like the Tamiya ones.

                Made a stand for her

Made a stand for her and a name plate with the tape. Flash pictures don't look that great. Will get some out door pics tomorrow.

Now to let her dry for a day and Tuesday I'll trim here up. Will install lights tomorrow and a bit more paint work.

But for the most part it's done!

Well I had a fire Dave. Does that count? LOL! It was a result of the butt end of the pump motor going in that hole you carved for it that pushed the leads against the motor case enough that it wore the insulation off and melted the rainbow cable. It was an was fix and no electronics were fried but I had a lot of smoke in the bladder section.

I just have to be more careful when I put the pump section together in the future. My fault.

                            Now where's my pool?

Well I just tested your handy work.

                                No leaks.

                                Everything electronic works.

                                Bag inflates. Holds pressure.

                                Bag deflates. Holds pressure.

                                Elev. up and down.

                                Rudder right and left.

                                Motor runs.

I think I'm good to go here as soon as the sun gets directly off my pool that is clean for a change. Got a bunch of lead. Don't think I'll need much. Certainly won't need much blue foam either with all this volume and a low water line.

                                Report back later.
