    A Possible WTC

Here is a company that makes sewer pipe adapters for RVs called Valltera.
The diamiter is 3 inches and the bayonet locking system with a special seal is prity high teck.Clear strong plastic of some kind makes this a good candidate for a WTC.
There are many cap ends that use the same locking system some with even sub caps ,great for switches or vents ect.
I have one of the longer ones that measure almost a foot and can be easaly extendid with smaller or a diferent adapter all with the special integrated seal.
Prices are very reasonable and can be perchased at any RV store or online.

The material is very strong and easy to drill, and the quality is there.
Hey its a true pig boat !

Hey Aquadeep...This looks like another really good resource that you've uncovered. I'm having some trouble looking the company's web site up on Google. Do you have a web address for these guys?

For our British cousins...RV stands for Recreational Vehicle, and most often refers to a trailer with living accommodations built into it that is most often towed behind a car or truck. Another form of RV is a large, self contained bus-like affair that usually costs a chunk of money and is often very nicely appointed.

      Thanks,

Hi Rich i think he is talking about a Recreational Vehicle. this is something
that is very popular here in the states as well with some of us sub modelers that are retired. one packs up his subs/wife and other amenities
and goes from regatta..to regatta...to regatta and the best part is they dont have to worry about going back to work

OK, here's another one to check out, I guess mainly for us Brits, but there maybe a dealer in the US of A?

I've just emailed them to see if there's anything there that may be of use for WTC material...I'll report back later when I hear from them.

                If you check the sizing

If you check the sizing chart, you'll see the tubes are very thin indeed. Not suitable for subs.

PVC pipe is the cheapest solution, not transparent, but so what. Tons of it gets chucked out in builders skips, unused, but even if purchased new it's very inexpensive.

It's more stable than acrylic, easy to cut and machine, and often more dimensionally accurate than a lot of the acrylic tubing out there.
