    For Raalst...

Just a couple more pics for you of Seaquel 5 so far...

The skids are made from copper water tubing and will be set inside the body when fitted, probably tomorrow. Just thought I'd keep you up to date...

Sorry the pics aren't very good, I think I need a new digi camera.

    Cheers,

    Rich

      nice !

      I have seen

      nice !

I have seen some rov models, where the skids were used to load the
batteries in. just like in a flash light.
handy for charging and good for a low center of gravity.

btw, I am sure other people are interested as well

Well, thank you kind sir...just one more pic with the top of the entry hatch in postion and the beginnings of the external view 'scope roughly in position.

The white tube you can see at the stern is the main drive motor casing. The skids on Seaquel 5 will be filled with lead to give me a low down ballast keel.

        Cheers,

        Rich

Had a couple of hours free this morning [daughter is getting married later today, but there's always time for a bit of sub building]..Perhaps I should have made a proper build posting?

This is the entrance hatch so far..

          Guess that's it for today...
