    New Prototype Cylinder

I am working on a protopype cylinder for the Trumpeter Seawolf kit. It uses the RCABS-R system or R for short.
I have had requests for a R version of the Seawolf but have not worked on one because I felt the standard RCABS worked so well in her. Now with being able to get custom copper pressure tanks made I had the means to design a system to fit.
I just finished the prototype and got her trimmed out in the test tank and shot some (rather poor) video of the R system in action doing a static dive. Watch the waterline. BD.

    Great stuff!

I'm trying to use the RCABS-R in my Seawolf model, except due to a forward servo controlling the bow planes, I don't think I have enough room for the pressure vessel and two pumps.*

*I've decided to use two pumps if using RCABS-R since I don't think (just a gut feeling, no math has been done) that at a depth of 8+ feet, the pressure in the pressure vessel will be enough to reinflate the bladder and make the Seawolf positively buoyant.

      Two pumps will actually buy

Two pumps will actually buy you nothing but more volume. Not more pressure. The pumps I use are good for about 13 PSI and at that pressure I am good for about 28' I think. If I am down to that depth I will have more to worry about. BD.

        Dave,

What are the dimensions of the copper pressure vessel?
