where can i find micro pumps? - where to buy

i'm thinking about making my own model sub with static ballast and i was wondering where i could find small pumps? i'm looking for pumps about the size of a "C" cell battery if not smaller. they need to be reversable and be able to pump to maybe 1 bar pressure. the pump doesn't even need to make a good seal as the pump can constantly be on in order to keep the ballast tanks full of water. any place i can find something like this?

    thanks ahead

        i already ordered from edmund

i already ordered from edmund scientifc; i was wondering if there were more pumps out there. as for subtech, is the ABP motor pump really that small? if the motor was about S300 size, i could maybe use it, but i thought it might be like a 540 (?) car motor size. oh, and i e-mailed them...they haven't replied, so they don't deserve my business if i can help it.

          Hi..

          I bought the APB pump

          Hi..

I bought the APB pump from SubTech a while ago for my Ohio, as I'm (also) building the entire inside stuff my self from scratch. The APB pump is a little more than 2" long, and app. the same from stud to stud... Allthough it's a fine pump, it sounds like it's a bit too large for you..

              Try an electric fuel pump

Try an electric fuel pump for glo-fuel for model airplanes. They are a very small gear pump, reversable and CHEAP! Check out Tower Hobby.

                  I have never measured the

I have never measured the output pressure of the glo-fuel pumps but they will squirt water 10 feet through a small orifice.
