I finally learned how to put pictures in the computers, thanks to my dauhgter. I hope you enjoy the pictures. I am hoping to complete this model within the next 2 months. I am building this as a static model. Here is the completed Tower. Everthing is scratch build except for the fiberglass tower. The figures I used are from Anrea's 54mm. I used sheet styrene. The 2cm guns are scratchbuild.

Here are several close up pictures of my scratchbuilld 2cm guns. I made the rail with styrene rod. I made a template with sheetstyrene and taped the styrene rod on the template placed it on boiling water for about a minute. Once cooled it stayed in shape. I don't know why there seem to be some white powder on the pictures but on the model it doesnt come out.

Few more pictures of the tower. The ladders are made of sheetstyrene. I scratchbuild the 3/7 cm gun but will be replacing it with another twin 2cm gun as I am currently scratchbuilding a 3.7 gun which will be mounted at the aft of the ship.

The radar antenna is made out of photoetched, I got this one from The Shipyard where I also got the fiberglass hull.

The following pictures are from the side of the Conning Tower, I decided to cut out one side the model and detail all of the interior. I will do this also the hull about 8ft of it.

I just finished scratchbuilding the 10.5 gun. I found a good reference book a week ago and it has very good 4 way pictures and drawings at 1/50 scale. The book is Gun Power #19/German Naval Artillery vol.III. I inlarged the drawings to 156% should be at 1/32 scale.

Few more pictures of my scratchbuild 10.5 gun. I used a fiberglass fishing rod for the barrel and also turned alluminum with my lathe. The rest is made with sheet styrene.
