Akula II Hull halves line - up

Folks,

What's the best way to line up as perfect as possible the top and bottom halves?

I'm not sure yet if I'll go all the way with the Z-cut, so far I have the top stern rear piece cut out but we'll see. But besides this, the line-up still remains...I'm trying to use the braces and WTC foundations to pull the lower half in as it is a bit wider than the top one.

Is there a better way? How do you guys do it?

Z-cutting is a proven good way to go. Especially for a first build. The finished product comes out well.
Also, Steve Neil has just come out with a "How-to" book that may be a big help for you. His work is proven excellent.
