ps here is a pic of the 3ft version next to mine
Hi Raven. I am very interested in the 3 ft. version, Id like to try and RC it. Did you say that a friend of yours makes them? More info please, and hurry up please, I am getting old.
Thanks Raven for the info, I am in the process of getting a 3 ft. hull. Then we will go for the full RC. Ill do a builders thread on it. In the meantime here are some pics I found on "Eagletransporter .com" These images taken from the UFO series are in high resolution(Blueray).
I have been in contact with the builder of these hulls and it is my understanding that the 5 ft. version is available but the 3 ft. version is discontinued but I am trying to locate any previously available units for sale by going to "Eagletransporter.com" and posting on their lists for items wanted. I have got several PMs from individuals who have one for sale. I am trying to work out the details. I hope that I will be able to obtain one. It would be an Awesome build.
I havent been able to get one yet but I am still hunting, got a couple of things in the works. In the meantime here is what I am up against. After looking at these pics it creates an overwelming desire to get one, NOW!!!
Raven, You mentioned that you installed Kehrers. I am going to assume that you are talking about the drive motors. I blew the picture up. It looks like brushless pumpjet drives. If thats true can you tell me where to get them and a little more about them.
I wonder how the control configuration changes when those big stabilizers in front disappear after launching the a/c. The whole thing should not be terribly manoeuverable anyway?
