Hello Guys,
we didn't have a topic on this subject yet, AND someone's building them in 1/60 on the board, so I guess we should have a topic.
Strange boats the Sierra's. The Sierra I class is less interesting as they had a LOT of problems with the tiles, yet their sail is more interesting and beautiful in shape.
The Sierra II on the other hand has less trouble with tiling (although they weren't repaired in the last 10 years either) and they have SOKS sensors, although I haven't been able to find the drop shaped sensors, which makes me think they are actually two seperate systems.
Anyway time for some pictures!!!
Sierra II, called Pskov, note the SOKS sensors in the front of the sail.

Again Pskov, if you look well you can discern the "fin" type SOKS sensor stretching out horizontally on the starboard side of the sail.

More Pskov (note both sensors again and the round, thicker edge of the sail)]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v609/Severodvinsk/Pskov3.jpg[/img]

If you look well you can see the SOKS here too.

And the Sierra I, called Kostroma. Last year they have expressed the plan to put her back in service and repair her. Don't know how much of that is true.... She has a notably shorter sail than the Sierra II and is more Akula like in appearance.
