Re: Anyone Seen/Heard/Have This ?
I have two. There are great for entertaining very young kids but that's about it. I don't remember where but there is a thread on some other forum where guy's were modifying them for better radio reception and just messing around with them in general. Maybe someone can chime in as to which forum.

Re: Anyone Seen/Heard/Have This ?
I got three of them. I get a good five to eight feet depth and a good 750 ft distance.
I am very happy with them. I only put a larger prop external on the rear motor
I also put a Aurora Seaview piggy back on one and it worked great. You can see the extended larger prop as well in this picture.

Junglelord you just gave me a great idea! I have a model of the Seaquest DSV I could do something similar with. Thanks.

[quote]Boss and Junglelord,
Thanks very much for the info!
Junglelord]
Just some prop I got from a hobby shop, but a traxxas #1534 will work.
I attached a brass tube to the prop and used a collar to connect the brass tube to the drive shaft.

I got the information from this page
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_13974 ... ey_/tm.htm
I forgot to mention, but it runs for a good hour on the supplied battery setup.

Re: Anyone Seen/Heard/Have This ?
The link to the rather lengthy thread I provided, for modifications for this sub, are all good advice.
I did not however open it up and re-seal the boxes or wires. It is recommended however.
I have never had a glitch or a leak, on mine, but I should open it up and put the blue sealent on those critical areas.
I only modified the prop. They work fine as they come however. Geat submarine, and not a toy per-say.
Very well engineered and it works like a charm. By the way, fish love it.
