    You silly Cone, remember:

    "slow is fast"
    "hurry up and wait"

Good luck on the fix. I never worry much. I just remember that everything is fixable, short of it catching on fire.

Hello everyone, I hope that everybodies Christmas was a good one. The look and smile on my 3 yr old son's face yesterday was the best Christmas present that I have had in a long time. Another good present was the results of my repair to my hull plug.

The 2 pieces came back together like a charm. After cutting a V chennel out at the breakpoint after the glue dried, I fille it with joint compound and sanded. I rinsed and repeated twice. After a quick check with the stern contour jig, I found that a little sanding at the break is all I needed. And hey Kevin, it didn't catch fire, so I am good. Yep, Slow is fast. There has to be a procedure for this somewhere.......

I will post more pics and progress after the new year. I have to make the obligatory trip home to PA so Mom and Dad can see the Grandkids. Happy New year everyone!
