Hard Water Stains

Hi,

I was running my boat in the local pond this weekend, and I committed the unforgivable sin of not hosing the boat down with clear water immediately. Now I have those hard water stains on the model. Anyone know of a good way to clean these off without damaging the paint? I've tried scrubbing the model down with mild soap and clean water, but it has no effect.

Thats easy! Use vinegar. It stinks bad but takes those nasty hardwater deposits right off. Use a soft cotton rag and gently wipe it away. It may take a couple of applications.

Kansas has a terrible hard water problem. I carry a small bottle with me when I go to the pond.
