BD GW RCABS exp. kit fail safe question for Dave

    Dave,
I have completed my BD RCABS kit for my SN GW sub...it is awesome.
I have spent the last few days trimming & getting the feel of it all...just about have it all worked out..just in the knick of time to close the pool up!
I see now my 21' pool is a tad small for the setup...since it runs so well I want to run it at a nearby pond.

Steve N has an RCABS setup of yours with a fail safe. I would like to intall one in mine before hitting the pond. Possible you can give me details on parts needed & hookup into my BD RCABS kit?
    Thanks
    Steve C, NYC

    Hi Steve,
    Thanks for the nice comments.
I am posting a drawing that shows how the MPD (Missing Pulse Detector) failsafe is connected. It is just plugged in between the receiver and the ballast servo. Many different companies make them. I use the Subtech Subsafe in my RCABS system. The RCABS-R like Steve has uses the SES-3 in place of a servo which has a MPD built into it. The hookup instructions come with the unit but as you can see it is very easy. I hope this helps. BD.
