    Source for stainless pushrods?

I'm looking for a source of threaded 1/8" stainless steel pushrods. (I assume that the rods sold on the mass e-tailer websites are plain carbon.)
For use in subs, the reasons are obvious.

I guess I could just buy rod and thread it myself since I have dies, but I'm not sure how hard it would be to thread stainless. And extra polishing should help maintain positive seals through the WTC, right?

I would have thought this would be an easy find. Anybody have any ideas? And if this is an absolutely idiotic question, let me know that too! Thanks.

You can buy stainless rod from K&S although most shops do not stock it. You can order right from K&S though.
I like Andy's idea. Very cool!! BD.

          Small Parts.com has the widest

Small Parts.com has the widest selection I have ever seen and I use the large Sullivan brass cleavis souldered with a 3/32 or the next size smaller than 1/8 stainless precition rod and a large robust rubber bellows from MHZ USA.com mounted on a K and S tube of the apropreate size.
So far have never had one fail.
