Your question depends on you.
Your question depends on you. Your modeling expirence, What you feel comfortable doing etc. Both systems work. Should you go with Dave Merriman WTC, then I would highly recommend getting a copy of his instuctions on how he did the build up. Same thing goes for Dave Welch's system. It's always a good idea to see what others have done before trying it yourself. If this is your first boat, then the best thing to do is go to the Regatta, take a camera and a note book. See what works best while the boats are running in the pool. There will be lots of folks there willing to answer your questions. Best Wishes Mike Dory

I consider myself a beginner. My previous sub that i built was the subtech USS Albacore. I just communicated with Mr. Welch and he answered my questions on what all comes with his kit. It basically includes the WTC with most of the linkages to run the rudder and planes. I forgot to ask him about the prop. and shaft if that is included.Your question depends on you.
