    Airbrush paint?

What is a good paint for rc subs. I have a airbrush and lots of acrylic paints but I would think they wouldn’t work. Can any of you suggest something? Unless it can be obtained at a big box store like a Wal-Mart I will have to order the paint.

    I've been using a lot

I've been using a lot of acrylic paint on my subs and ships. I've used both Testors Model Master Acryl and Floquil Polly Scale acrylics on my last few models with good results. I've had some bad luck with Badger Model Flex paints.

      I have Golden Fluid Acrylic

I have Golden Fluid Acrylic paint. When it dries it wont wash off with watter? I know house paint is like this but wasn't aware if it were the case with other paints. I don't know if my brand is like tat.

        I like the black primer

I like the black primer in a spray can in Walmarts automotive dept. It is cheap and gets a good weathered appearance after sanding or sitting in water. I preshade everthing with it for the weathered look.

          For me, it depends.....on what

For me, it depends.....on what kind of sub I am painting.

For WW2 U-boats, I use the Testors ModelMaster line. You can get colors to match the ones used by the Kriegsmarine. For modern U.S./Brit subs, I mostly use Krylon (in a can).
