Hi,
by a pure coincidence I found out that Hallmark in 2005 did a remake of the 60´s Mysterious Island. I got the mini-series on DVD the other day and watched it during two nights.
Even though there were several famous actors in my opinion the series was awful, it was a lot different from Jules Verne´s original story and the special effects were even worse than The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
However, there was a quite cool Nautilus as expected lurking in the volcano of the Mysterious Island, somewhat similar to the 50's Disney version.
Here are some pictures.
Interesting to se but I don't recommend the series at all, the best version of the Mysterious Island I've seen so far is the one with Omar Sharif as Nemo called "The Mysterious Island of Captain Nemo".
