I had the yet unfinished 212 in the pool yesterday. I had to see how she ran. Excellent for the first time out. I have a list of things to change the biggest is more air bleed holes in the upper hull. Now I can't wait to get her finished and trimmed out. BD. BTW- Yes that is elect-tape holding the sail on.

Top notch Dave ... looks awsome. Can't wait to get my hands on mine, should be any day.
Just as an FYI, the Ottawa Sub Regatta is this Saturday, and I am still planning on doing a cottage regatta (close to Clayton) this summer. Just something for the 8 Ballers to think about.
I had the 212 in open water for the first time Saturday. It ran great! I was worried at first about having enough air pressure in the R system to get a full waterline given the small size of the pressure vessil. But as you can see in the photos I can get full waterline and still take her to the bottom. Now I just have to paint and finish detailing the boat. Most of the comments at the pond were it looked larger than that in the photos. Ha!! All were impressed with Steve's glasswork. BTW- Underwater it will turn on a dime and give you 9 cents change. Fun Fun Fun!!! BD.

Yea, it turns very well. Under water it will spin right around.
The pond is not bad. Hopefully it still looks good this month. We can get some nasty vegetation this time of year. BD.
