For those that have never seen a X-tail working I did a short video of the 212. Very cool!! BD.

BTW- It starts with dive, surface, right, left.

      Tim your kit should be

Tim your kit should be there by the weekend. So keep an eye out for it.

BD is using a electronic mixer. Not the kind internal to the radio such as elevon mix. Maybe he will tell us what kind and where to get it. As well as explain why use an external mixer rather than the radio built in one.

BD! They work! Very nice. Now I'm inspired to get some time in on mine this weekend. I have everything for it, failsafe and APC included. But I think I might try the on board mixer. someone has to.

        Steve is correct. I normally

Steve is correct. I normally use the X-Mixer from Subtech. It works great out of the box. I don't want to steal your thunder Steve but for this sub I am going to try the radio mixer again. That is what is doing the mixing in the video. My Multiplex radio does so many things that I am learning it does all the time. I have found a sub-menu (Ha!! I made a joke) that allows me to set the amount of mixing and other parameters. I may revert back to the trusty X-mixer. We will se!! BD.

            Only snag with radio mixing

Only snag with radio mixing is that you can't fit a leveller.

                If you want a APC

If you want a APC you need an X-Mixer. No other way I know of. I am not using an APC. I don't tend to put them in unless the sub really needs one. BD.
