    Hi, Adam

When I started my project, I could find hulls in two/three places:

    1) ThorDesign, no longer active with models, as I'm informed.
    2) Sheerline Model Submarines (UK).
    3) 96 Parallel, no longer active with models, as I'm informed.

That leaves you with Sheerline Model Submarines, or if someone has one they never did build. If you have problems finding Sheerline Model Submarines , please drop me a note, and I'll find the link etc for you.

The only reason I did not choose the Sheerline my self, is that I went the full 9 yards, and scratch build mine.

      Hmmmm...

I DO have a 1/48 scale hull ... heh heh... Its about 12 feet long, but its the SSGN not SSBN. Its pretty cool...

HEH HEH... Its actually a project for a defense client and I just had to mention it. Actually you could cut a hole in the top and use it as a canoe!

SSGN as seen from behind. SSGN on sail is per client not FX...

Missile hatch masks were used to provide a subtle line after painting to outline the hatches. For artistic reasons, we show the hatches slightly recessed to catch the light although we realize they are certainly not that way...

Gotta love the Ohio class and its conversions...

Oh I will not let this slide.....
The man, is Pete Piekarski. I will nudge this along until I see a new Ohio kit in 1/96.
A kit long overdue. It will be needed to counter the Delta IV looming on the horizon.
Based on Pete's prior work, and the information avalible, it should be awsome.
          Any updates, there Pete?

While Pete is handling the Report magificantly (I loved the cover of the last issue by the way), one cannot lower the guard in defence of the homeland.
Reports and rumors indicate a 1/96 Delta IV in the works. An Ohio will be needed to counter this threat in the east and west sides of the Carmel waters, and the oil reserves under the fountain's pump..

                If this is the case

If this is the case then it will be vitally important that the construction of a Glomar Explorer be started to extract the "OIL" before the Russians are able to achieve their strategic goal.
