I have had a look at a drawing of a German WW2 electric torpedo, the G7e. There is no pencil-like edge between torpedo hull and torpedo rear, and no constant angle to the stern. Rather, there is a gentle, streamlined curve. The angle starts at 0° and becomes steeper as the stern reaches the center axis of the torpedo. The maximum angle from the longitudinal axis that I measured was 13°.
