    Gato Battery Test

I just wanted to give a report on my battery tube I am using in the Gato.
You are not left with a lot of room once everything is inside of the hull so I wanted to have an easy to remove power source that would be low in the hull and supply a good run time. Looks like my battery tube idea has worked out quite well. It’s easy to install, sits right on the keel, and as I have found out is giving excellent run time. I had a full charge on my batteries last Sunday and ran for 1 3/4 hours. A recharge only took 1500MA.
I was poring the coals on too at times. .
I am using a very high 5.33/1 ratio in my gearbox for low current draw. The batteries I have in my tube have a 2500MA capacity so run times should be very good. BD.

      Neet looking build Dave! It

Neet looking build Dave! It will be nice with all that battery weight low
in the boat. The gato looks like a fun build with a bit more room than the type7 has to offer.
