several guys use the TrackerIII http://www.modelcontrol.com/3tracker1.htm

Some of us use the inexpensive Futaba skysport on 75mhz. (Ihave 2)

And there is also the Futaba/Robbe F-14 Navy which can be configured for numerous channels. Mine will have 16 channels when I'm done adding the modules.
