    Resin vs thickener.. strength?

    Hey, all.
I'm about to glue some very central things that need strength (bulkheads), and has started to think..
Does thickener effect the final strength of epoxy? If so, will a little "overdose" of hardner help? Is the effect so small, that I need not to worry?

    AFAIK if you are using

AFAIK if you are using resin as glue then don't use any fillers, if you are going to be filleting in on then fillers will thicken it and make it less runny. Fillers will generally weaken the the mixture a little. The 'harderner' is normally a calatyst and adding more will speed up the cure, but not make the bond any more efficient.

      I tend to bulk out

I tend to bulk out the resin with some glass rovings.

It adds strength, and helps reduce the exotherm.
