    OF ICE AND STEEL (Movie)

Although not a lot of interest has been generated from SUBCOMMITTEE, I would still like to share with you the progress of the motion picture production.

Visit www.thesubreport.com If no one is interested just let me know and I'll not post anything more about it.

    Keep the stuff coming Don,

Keep the stuff coming Don, we want to know what is going on! The more stuff you post, the more interest there will be. "Build it and they will come"

BTW - it sounds like you and Jim Butt had a great time at the Hunley event on Friday. Sorry I couldn't be there! I hope you boys got some photos to share.

I take a little bit of exception. There are quite a few more members than 3 Seniorchief. I for one appreciate all your effort. Keep up the hard work.

And definatly keep the updates coming.

It's nice to know. Thank you for your support here.

I have started on the new movie trailer for this project today. Workling on the type 9 CGI model. Detail and paint at this point. Then I can start some scenes now that I have the script from Don.

There will be live action and CGI. A real trailer this time.

                Yes Tim. It will be

Yes Tim. It will be all over the net too. I'm looking for money from anyone with the guts to make the film here.

My big push is to make this an American made film. That means made in this country with American film workers. I'm sick and tired of being outsourced. So are my friends in this country.

Although it will cost more the best things do and should. Why support countries that will take our money and then spit on us when are backs are turned? I'd rather support my own country and keep the crew safe in good old USA.

This will be a full blown pro movie trailer just like the one's you see in the movies.

                      Well Jeff it just might

Well Jeff it just might help even with the CGI model. As you know there's not the time to build the SSY type 9. I can do the whole trailer faster.

But details of the real boat would help greatly for the CGI model.

                      Thanks a million Jeff.

                      And thanks Tim!

I'd be interested in seeing this as a movie.

With the real life experience of the author, it work out well in production.

Thanks so much for your support and welcome to SC.

I too would like to thank you for serving in Nam. We must be around the same age. I registered in 70. IA and never was called. Imagine that. I fell through the cracks somehow and went on to Hollywood.

But your time ther and what you did doesn't go un appreciated with this vet of the 60's unlike so many degenrates of my time in those days. And you know what I mean.

Get Don's book and have a read. You'll love it Steve.

I just finished your book tonight. I have to say that I am very impressed and can't wait until the movie comes out. Your book was so interesting that you kept me away from my DSRV and Hammerhead project for the last five days. Keep up the outstanding work.
