I found this site true U.Boat. net and I think there could be lot of interest for it in the US of A.

altough the site is not yet up and running fully in English you might get the idea.

I already ordered one and it's going to cost about $60,- cash on arrival.
Perhaps it needs a "bit of work" but for that amount you may take the risk of owning a type IX in 1:72
For what it's worth: I think this guy did a wonderfull and affordable job.

Yesssss, your buddy is doing allright and yes the hull arrived in the beginning of last year. That's also the reason I'm not that active on the fora anymore. Lots of work, lots of idea's and lots of things to figure out.
Sorry for the absence but I hope you understand.

Must be nice! I have been trying to buy a 1/72 scale XXIII for about a year! Even had Gantu trying to get one for me. Any advice on how to get my hands on the XXIII would be apprechiated!
