Experimental Tear-drop u-boat hull - need more info

I remember reading about an experimental tear-drop u-boat hull the German navy was planning to build during the latter part of WWII. In the book ( forgot the name but it was about Hitler's Kriegmarines secret weapon, there was even a topic about an atomic powered type 26) there was a drawing depicting the sub as having a spindle shape much like a Mark 82 bomb. The sub only had a single rudder much like a Kilo. It also had a tall slender conning tower. Hope someone has more info on this sub.
