Skate Class Kit/Hulls - Anybody doing these??

Are there any Skates (SSN 578) or New Nautilus (SSN 571), or Old Seawolf (SSN 575) kits/ hulls available, or nearly so?? A few years back there was a tease of such, but somthing made the idea go away.

The ( THEN ) I must disagree , not true to her form , body lines off , and I was just a first timer !

David Merriman was my Master instructor at that time , some eleven years back , as I rushed full spead ahead , a younger twirp then , I did not finish up the way he was willing to teach me , It was the chance and deal of a life time to learn from a master on making molds from my plug , and I walked away ! This resulted in a less then perfect boat to me .

Yea a Idiot , This time around , and for the last two years , I have been quietly making new (kit's) . This 571 is all it should have been then , and I really just need the proper work place to get it on with the build !

This Build Post will take place at SP .

Price is not even thougth of yet , I do know the matreial will NOT be GRP ! And that it will not leave my shop , untill it is correct and sea trials have been done by me .

My Home page here, shows the model not long after I began working on the initial build plug , this is now the new master of my 571 in 1/96th , that I am being detailed and then go to molds for a hull kit . ETA unknown , please stay tuned .
