SubmarineWorks Virginia Class Kit - The build begins

Finally started on the Virginia Class boat, will be commisioned as SSN-777 North Carolina. Pictures will be added to my SP homepage as I go. Pete makes a very nice kit, quite complete.
Will be using a D&E Miniatures 3" WTC.

    Mike

              Been somewhat a slow weekend,

Been somewhat a slow weekend, watching epoxy dry.
Bow section cut and epoxied to upper hull, spreaders installed and front mount almost finished. Additional pics are up.

                You can attach your pictures

You can attach your pictures from your SC homepage by opening the picture on your homepage. Right click on the picture and select properties. Copy the Address (URL) by hilighting it and typing control+C (copy). Now go back to your post on the forums and select the Image box. This opens a window asking for a URL address. Type control+V (paste) to put the address in the window. Check Ok after getting the address correct. If the address gets to long you can delete SubComm/ from the address as seen on the next two lines.

This will add your picture to your post.

Now can anyone tell me how to use the underline, Italics, and bold in these post???

                -Scott

I edited this to show a used homepage address.

                  Scott,

                  To use the underline, italics,

                  Scott,

To use the underline, italics, and bold you only need to click on the appropriate icon located just above the text box when you wish to start using one of these text highlighters...type in your text...and then hit the same icon when you are done. You'll notice that when you do click on one of them, the icon will change from something like "B" to "B*" ....the "*" showing that it is enabled.

                  -hope this helps,

                  Jeff

                  p.s. Very nice work!

                      Mike,

                      ...just to make sure that

                      Mike,

...just to make sure that folks do not get the wrong impression, I need to publically state that you are not seeing someone 'pirate' your photos. If you look at Scott T's posting you will see that he simply created a link to your SubCommittee homepage.

You are also not seeing someone 'hijack' your thread. You were being offered help to make it easier for you to share your work.

I believe that you have misunderstood what has occurred.

                        Sorry there was a misunderstanding.

Sorry there was a misunderstanding. I was only trying to help people understand how they can post pictures on there homepage and then insert them into there post. I used a picture from your homepage since it was your thread. It would be just as easy to insert a picture shown in SubPirates by copying the address and pasting it here.

                        Again Sorry for the misunderstanding.

                        Scott

                          When I started this thread,

When I started this thread, I felt I made it clear that the build thread was on SP and that I had added pictures to my homepage here for those that wanted to follow the build.
I did this in order to save time and not have to post duplicate build threads. For those who wish to follow this build, it can be viewed here]http://www.subpirates.com/viewtopic.php?t=943[/url]
