I use standard NiMH AA with "decent" capacity (>2000 mAH)
I buy them anywhere I see them advertized, but I try to get
brand names (like varta, panasonic etc.)
I build small models, with small motors.

I use, Lipos were space is tight, Lead acid when it isn't and need to add ballast and NIMH for everything else. AA cells cant supply large currents like C cells so a only suitable for lower Amp draw motors.
Hi,
I am going to use NiMH "D" type batteries from GP with 8750 mAh capacity bought from local vendor. I do not solder them, but use this]http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/IMG_4317.JPG[/img]
I use a Duralite Plus Lithium-ion 7.4 volt 950 MA riding wet in my ROG conversion.Expensive little bugger but does a good job.Bought it from a local R/C shop.

I use NiMH cells purchased from Batteries America, I buy whichever sized cells best fit the needs of each sub and make up my own battery packs. My 'favorite' pack is a 12volt 4Ah pack that I made from 10 4/3rds sized AA cells....that pack allows me to run something like an OTW Type VII or Seehund around 3 hours.
For my NiMH packs, I order from www.maxamps.com, here in Oregon. Great prices and will build any configuration/ah required. I buy my gelcells form All Electronics, very reasonable prices and you can't beat the flat rate shipping.
Well I checked out all-battery.com and found a deal that I
couldn't pass up. Two 12 Volt battery packs and a charger
all for less than $70.00, that includes shipping cost.
They are having a sale right now so you might want to
visit them if you may need ro do need batteries.

Thank you for the information, it was a big help. In fact they
have the best deal that I was able to find. I did find a deal
on some Panisonic batteries that had 4000 mah, however they
wanted $60.00 for 10 cells so I had to pass on the deal.
