    Engel APC - location

    Greeting all

Well with a little help I'm down to the last few items on my Typhoon. With any luck the sea trials will be in about 2 or 3 weeks. The last item to locate is my Engel APC.
I now how to mount it, but where? I would assume that it would go close to center line and midship. A'm I corret in this assumption?

    Automatic leveling controls such as

Automatic leveling controls such as the SubTech APC-3 or the Engel/Brueggen APC are angle sensing devices so their location within the boat is not critical. If any part of the boat angles either up or down, the rest of the boat has the same amount of angle, right?

      If the apc is a

If the apc is a device with a pressure sensor
then the pressure sensor is advised to be mounted
so that turbulence in the water near the
      pressure sensor tube is minimal.
so preferably in a free-flooding space.

the rest is indeed plain old angle detection and
unless you are building flexible subs, it does not matter.
