Robbe U-47 - Novice

I am new to R/C submarines, but went at it in a big way. I purchased an already assembled Robbe U-47 boat. Now that I have it, I don't know how to get into it to get the batteries out to charge, etc. The sub makes a great display, but I have this big lake to cruise it on. Sorry for the dumb question, but I figured I may get a hand in getting this in the water faster, by asking here.

The boat is split radially, and sealed via a single o-ring.

The two halves are held together using a bolt which screws into the equipment tray through the forward cylinder bulkhead.

This screw is accessed through the small gap you can observe at the tip of the bow.
