A new Special Navy Type II coming out soon? Looks like the 1/72 scale fleet may just be growing larger next year. With these small subs, I can drag my fleet all over Shanghai strapped on the back of my bicycle!''
I have to finish up the 1/144 Washington class so I can't start selling the kits.
Then I have the 1/96 212 to finish for kit release.
I have three different sizes of type 23 boats to make. All kits. The SN. Darrin's 1/32 and the all glass 23 Gantu sent me. Really detailed this one is.
Then I have the Gato and the large Scale Ship yard's type 9. I'll be busy for awhile no?

Steve
Steve- how about posting a few shots of the other XXIIIs- Darrin's and the one you got from Gantu?
thx,
Sam,
I know this is OT, but I see Ota also offers a 1/72 Type IXc that looks nice. Would really be interested to hear comments on this particular model.
Reason for the my interest in the scale, besides my lack of space, is
that I'm an associate member of TF72 & am trying to build interest here in Shanghai so we have some more boats of the same class in our local pond.
Well chuck it's a bit rough around the edges but this is mostly due to the age of the molds. Still a very nice boat. Very thick casting. Not light but this is most due to making it for dry hull use. I plan to use a WTC.
Also you don't get anything but the hull and tower. The rest you make yourself such as appendages. I do However plan to make molds for the 23's appendages as a favor to Gantu. So they will be included in the future if you get one through Gantu. I believe, although I'm not certain, that you can get the rest of the OT hulls through Gantu but you'll have to right him.
