ok, i have some basic
ok, i have some basic basic pictures and a cheap o diagram i drew up and will upload when i get home...
but basically he said it just a circuit that rectifies the incoming rf and converts to a readable dc voltage....so when reading the multimeter you are looking for the highest voltage. but the lower it gets, theres a cutoff point that wont "turn on" that diode and it wont read period which means a severe loss in signal and obviously wouldnt be the length (that you have tested at that point) you would want.
