Diving i swimming pool - Diving i swimming pool

    Hi all,

Just dived for the first time in a swimming pool yesterday. I washed it ower with water to remove the worst clorine.

today after it has dried up, I can se that on the inside of the hull it seems like there is some very fine white powder on the untreated fiberglass. and putting water on it it seems to disappear as it gets wet.

What is this, and does it cause damage to the hull in any way. The hull has not been painted on the inside, on the outside where the base paint is there is nothing to see.

    Best Regards

      Hi Paul,

      Ok now I have

      Hi Paul,

Ok now I have taken some photos of the surface for you, and placed them on my homepage]http://www.fmx.dk/projects/rc_submarine/IMG_6322.JPG[/img]

And this is a picture after I made it wet]http://www.fmx.dk/projects/rc_submarine/IMG_6323.JPG[/img]

the surface is not dusty, but has gotten this matted surface. Its only on this part of the boat. On the outside, and metals + plastics there is nothing.
When I make it wet it just takes some seconds for it to change color, like it needs to soak in to the material..

You can access the rest of the project pictures here]My Webpage

Dont want to end up having a hull that start crumbling in a few weeks (-:
