subconcepts.com is gone :( ! - Their SubGuide is gone too!

Hey does anyone know Frank Ryan? He is owner of www.subconcepts.com and he took down his site within the past few days. I dont know about the rest of you but i was finding it a great source for information however i found it only about a week ago. If any of you know him or have his website saved can you please get a copy of his subguide cause it would prove a great help in the construction of my subs. Thanks.

Hmm, it is a pity

Hmm, it is a pity that such a comprehensive guide of submarine modelling will not be upgraded anymore.
Anyway, I hope that now, when it is not longer available from the Internet, will Frank Ryan not object, when I will send to another submarine modeller that saved SubGuide from my hard-disk. So send me an email and I will pack it into RAR and send it to you as attachment.

I just visited Frank's site and he is offering the guide on CD for $9.95 so I picked up a copy. I would suppose that posting it on a web site would now defeat the purpose of selling his CD copies. At any rate, the message said "for a limited time" and if you really liked the info, investing in the CD. Remember "support your vendors"

I received a reply from Frank. He is pursuing a contract to get his material published in either book or digital form. So we will be unable to host his submarine guide on the SC web site.

And just to make sure we (the SubCommittee) are not inadvertantly encouraging questionable behavior by anyone....Frank's material is copyrighted and intended for personal use only......so no web sites should be stood up with is material.
