Lighting for the sub - How to?

    Hello,
I am building RC Akula sub kit, work goes fine, but this is what bother me - How do you add lighting to your sub?
I have 6V main battery supply and 4,8V RX battery and have free channel, I am able to connect leds with resistors and cables, even make it waterproof... but have no idea how to make led being anytime switched on or off from RX. To use servo to push some switch seems quite complicated and potentially unreliable. Are there any other ways?
Please, any tip & trick, picture, scheme... enlighten me
    Thank you.

    You can use a switching

You can use a switching device that uses a relay to to convert stick movement into an on-off device. Robbe and Electronize make one, I am sure there are others.
