Revell u boat - RC plastic convertion

Hi I am about to start the Revell kit with the help of the David Welsh WTC My question is what changes do I need to make to the plastic kit to make a working model?

You should have gotten a CD with your WTC kit. In it you will find an extensive write up on what to do along with alot of pictures. This is and excellent kit to work with. If by chance you have a question that wasn't answered on the CD you can contact Dave by e-mail, he is a very nice and helpful person.

Thanks for the encouragement I dont have Davids kit yet as I have to send over the pond for it.It was more a case of what could I do with the plastic kit while I wait for delivery.

I started out by opening

I started out by opening all the limber and ballast tank holes on the hull. Trust me that will keep you busy for a while. You could go ahead and build the conning tower.
You can also check out past posts in both R/C and static modeler to see what others have done.
