I am planning on getting the Revel U-Boat and converting it to RC. The Dave Welsh design WTC seems like what every one is using. I was just wondering if there was any other options on the market? May be be one that used propel instead?
Thx
Small World Models has a small WTC and motor system,at least when I was inquiring as to what kit I wanted. But that was about 6 months ago, don`t know if you still can get it.
TD
Dave Welch's WTC kits can be ordered as a gas (Propel) syetm or the RCABS. I bought one of his KILO WTC kits for gas at the Sub Regatta. The instructions are on a DVD/CD Rom, and (at least the KILO WTC) shows both the gas and RCABS systems installed.
Thanks, I know Big Dave did a Propel WTC for the Kilo, but as far as I know the Type VIIc only comes with the RCABS systems at the moment.
I know lots of you on here have converted the Revell, but I can only find pics of the RCABS. Would anyone whos done it someother way like to share?
Thanks
