Hi Andy,
feel free to ask.
Hi Andy,
feel free to ask. If Gerhard don’t understand it, I can translate. But I’m pretty sure he don’t need my help. His Stint is really tremendous.
And it always be at hand if you needed. Thanks for the light!

Sorry for the blurred picture, it was really dark!

Hi everyone,
I'll use this thread to post my feelings for all the boats built in Germany that I saw over here...THESE BOATS ARE WONDERFUL!!!
I'm simply amazed by all the engineering and passion that you guys in Germany put in these works of art...to Gotland, Gerhard, Manni,
Eloka, Berserk...COMPLIMENTS!!
I hope to learn from you and to see your boats for real in 2006 in Grossbreitenbach, as I just became member of SONAR e.V!!!

Hi,
I've seen a little about
Hi,
I've seen a little about the piston tanks on the Sonar forum, and purchased a couple of Markus Riegers excellent control boards.
I've also read Lothars article on piston tanks.
Are your tanks made using aluminium tube, or is it stainless steel you are using?
Do you use o-rings for the piston seal? If so what kind of rubber are they made from- nitrile?
I looked up the specification of the motors and gearboxes you are using for your tanks, I have some small Maxon motors of a similar spec complete with planetary gearbox.

Airzet rings as made by
Airzet rings as made by Simrit?
I remember those being mentioned in Norbert Brueggens book.
Could you tell me the part number for those please, as they seem to have a bewildering variety.
Are you using PVC for the plastic parts?
I considered using Acetal(Delrin) for my tanks.
Are you using Neodymium magnets in the gear wheel, as opposed to the magnets supplied with the control board?
Andy
