Yes, this boat becomes the hammer. This Sub is one of the most impressive models at the moment with compressed air technoligy. He works at boat the since June this year. You see, He not only a fast man under water.
here are the facts:
Length: 210 cm
beam: 26 cm
weight: 60 kg
OK... let me see if I got it right...
2,1 meters, and 60 Kilograms, 5,8 litres for centre ballast tank (plus trimming pistons)... Do you guys have a crane for transporting the (literally) beasts!? Now I understand why you are 6 modellers... you need them all to move the subs.
This is the type of info I get all worked up over! As I am in the planning stages of the WTC for my 1/20th scale Type II, it is info like this that helps one see different approaches. Masterful job!
Thanks Steve for assisting in posting these..Mike
Are the pneumatics going to be in the mainballast tank? Aren't they going to rust away? Or aren't the big boxes on your sub maintanks? And how do you connect the air to the pneumatics and keep the stuff removable?
Spectacular, just as expected. I went to the site www.dutchsubmarines.com and clicked on the multi-media header and watched some of the video clips. Very much worth visiting. Cool videos.
