Hello Gents,
How much displacement (weight above water line) did you guys need for surfaced mode? I'm using the P/E deck I bought from guy here online (forgot name Sempro , Seffer ?) I thought I could build a balance with a cup on one end then float the hull at surfaced depth (tied to balance) then add the P/E parts to balance plus any other parts, conning tower etc. Then fill cup attached on opposite end of balance with water to re-level. Then pour water into kitchen measure cup for volume displacement required. However, I'd like to skip that if you guys know. Thanks for any info.

Ok, I rigged it up.

Ok, I rigged it up. I measured approx. 8-9 once of water to counter balance the revell VII, plus MODELBRASS deck and others parts at surfaced mode (volume required for piston tanks). This site is useful for conversions [url=http://www.digitaldutch.com/unitconverter/]My Webpage
