    Gas Question - liquid to gas ratio

    Hi All ,

    Does anyone know what the ratio is between Airbrush propelant in its liquid state and its gaseous state , - in plain english how many CC's of gas do you get for every CC of Liquid ,

    I'm trying to work out how big a storage tank I need for a reasonable number of Blows

    hopeing someone can help

    nice question however I think

    nice question however I think you would be better off to use the traditional calculations based on the size of your boat and rc gear weights and measures to find the size of the pressure bottle.
    I don not have that formula memerized but I could get it can post if you need

      [color=#8D38C9]Hi Chuck,

      wouldn't "the size of your boat and rc gear weights and measures" relate to the size of the ballast tank and from there to the size of the gas tank based on the gas ratio

      or am I being even more stupid than usual ]

        I think that Chuck's answer

        I think that Chuck's answer should actually read]ballast tank[/i]."

        Your question is different and needs a different answer.

        Somewhere in the past I've seen the answer to your question. I'll see if I can find it!

          Hi All,

          after a lot of hard digging on some very obscure web sites ( there are some VERY strange people out there ! ) I have managed to find out that the ratio of liquid to gas for PROPANE is 274 / 1 .

          does anyone know if this is a constant for all liquified gases or are they all different ?
