    Hello. - I am new

I have been interested in R/C Submarines for a while, and i have scratchbuilt one. Though my scratchbuilt can go only foward, and dive depending on the speed. I took the parts from an old R/C car.

I want a kit, and I was thinking about getting the "Seawolf"(something like that).

Welcome aboard. Subtech makes a good beginner sub called the Albacore. They also make a few other subs. Unfortunately if i am not mistaken the seawolf is for advanced but i cant see why a beginner wont be able to build one. If you're careful, it just might take longer time to build but thats about it. If you find out where the edit button is, let me know as well

          I sure don't want to

I sure don't want to throw any cold water on your entry into the submarine hobby, however the reality is that it's fairly expensive. I agree, the Seawolf is probably for advanced modelers, while the Albacore, Marlin or Blueback is probably going to be a better place to start. If you already have a four channel radio (minimum), and some model building experience, you can probably get into the whole thing for a few hundred bucks.
It's just like almost everything else, best to start off slowly, with less complex models, and graduate to more advanced boats as your experience grows.
There are many people in this forum who will give you tons of good advice, and you will find model subs to be very rewarding and fun.

            You will only get the

You will only get the edit button when you are a member of SC.

Also you might want to take a look at this as a less expensive way to start out.

I think he is talking about the robbe seawolf semiscale
if this is true I beleive anyone can build this kit by just taking time and go slow
